What does Atlantic Management do?
Atlantic Management publishes independent educational material and research notes about the Eurobond and international bond market. We explain how the market works, what the risks are and how to evaluate a bond.
Can I invest with Atlantic Management?
No. We do not accept deposits, open accounts, manage money or sell investment plans. If you see any website or message using our name to ask for money, it is not us.
Do you give personal investment advice?
No. The material on this site is general information only and does not take your personal circumstances into account. For personal advice, use a firm authorised by your financial regulator.
Does Atlantic Management offer fixed or guaranteed returns?
No. Nobody can legitimately guarantee fixed hourly or daily returns on bonds or any other investment. Such offers are a classic sign of a scam.
Is a Eurobond the same as a bond in euros?
Not necessarily. A Eurobond is any bond issued internationally in a currency foreign to the place of issue. It can be in US dollars, euros, sterling or many other currencies.
Can individuals buy Eurobonds?
Sometimes, through a bank or broker with access to the market. Many issues have high minimum denominations and are restricted to professional investors; bond funds are a common alternative.
Are Eurobonds safe?
No investment is risk-free. Eurobonds carry credit, interest-rate, currency and liquidity risk, and lower-rated issuers can default. See our guide to the main risks.
Where are Eurobonds held?
In the international central securities depositories Euroclear and Clearstream, through a chain of banks and custodians.
How do I check whether a firm is legitimate?
Search your financial regulator's public register (for example the FCA Register in the UK) and its warning list. Confirm the firm's name, address, website and phone number match the register.
I sent money to a site that used this domain in the past. What should I do?
Report it to your local police and financial regulator (in the UK, Action Fraud and the FCA). Keep records of payments and messages. The current site has no connection with any past scheme and cannot recover funds.
Do you use cookies or tracking?
No. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. See our privacy notice.
How often is the guide updated?
We review the guide periodically. Market conventions and rules change, so always check the latest official documents for any bond you are considering.
